The Primer is the official complementary league to the Sim Madden League (SML), designed to serve as a proving ground for serious sim players looking to join one of the top leagues in the Madden community.

Traditional waitlists often fall short. Players lose interest, join other leagues, or disappear entirely. The Primer solves that problem by offering a more active and reliable way to evaluate potential SML members in a live setting.

When you join The Primer, you’re not sitting on a waitlist — you’re participating. You’ll be evaluated by league leadership based on several key factors:

• Sim-style gameplay

• Consistent rule-following

• Attitude and sportsmanship

• Activity and engagement in league chat

When a spot opens in SML, we promote from within. Members who’ve proven themselves in The Primer are the first considered — not based on seniority, but based on fit and readiness.
